A few years ago, I used to have a R1200R LC, so I thought it was about time I tried the new R1300R. I used to like the R as it was a gentleman's naked bike that you could have fun with, tour, commute… The new R has moved into the roadster concept. The bike is now smaller, more compact, more aggressive… It is a great bike if you want to have fun around the bends but it is not the R I remember. Have you ridden it? Do you own one? I am so glad these guys were driving through! I almost dislocated my knee a couple of weeks before my trip and I clearly hadn’t recovered at this point 😅 While getting off the bike (on the other side as I couldn’t get off the other way) my knee cracked and just lost all its strength. Thankfully these guys kindly stopped and helped me lift my bike. *No bikes were harmed in the making of this video 🤣 The @outback_motortek crashbars and @loneridergear took the hit without suffering any damage! What is your must have tool? Since my big trip to Nordkapp where I found myself forced to work on my bike, I have been getting braver and braver. For others they may be routine things but for some of us doing small work on our bikes can be daunting! This is why I am so paranoid about torque settings. Recently, I saw a few people using MoveCrab tools. I didn't know about them but after some research they looked great. What is best bike you have ever owned? For me, it's the F900GS. A true do it all adventure bike. This bike has taken me on road and off road the the most Northern point in Europe and back home with no issues. The issue is CarPlay itself, it is designed to be use with your finger 👉 not the wonder wheel. This means on the BMW the navigation through the menus is a bit tricky 😅 What do you think? New tool alert! After my trip, I have become a bit more confident playing around with my bikes. Just simple things. Doing things like brake pads, cleaning callipers… I have a whole set of tools from Motohansa but I needed to step up the game and get some Torque Wrenches to make sure I don't under or over do bolts. Doing some research I found this brand, Movecrab, and it came highly recommended by @remy_gsa_rally so I thought I would give it a try. Crossing the length of Sweden during Paris to Nordkapp! It was great to ride most of the time with a local @purre_racing_adventures 😉 🗺️ The DMD tablet performed amazingly during the whole trip. 👝 The LoneRider tank bag was a lifesaver. 🪞 The Double Take mirrors took all the beating. 🛞 The Continental TKC80s performed through all the terrains. 💦 The Scottoiler system kept my chain in shape for over 15.000 kms or the roughest terrain. #adventurerider #rideuk #keepitreal #nobullshit #motorcycle

We need to shout out more about good experiences with brands! We see a lot of negative ones but not always the positive ones! This is the dat I tried this view with the @insta360motorcycling went great and I really liked it. Unfortunately, the official accessories only lasted one day during my trip 🤣🤣 I think the windshield vibrates way too much. Here it goes Day 2 of the Pyrenees trip! We started in Vielha and finished in Ripoll after visiting Andorra because, why not? A bit of a shorted day, just over 180 miles but really intense with all the small unknown roads around the Pyrenees. We saw a fair amount of snow on day 2! The Continental TKC70 were amazing at handling the dry and wet roads with the quick temperature changes we faced! It has taken a while but finally getting around to posting some videos of the Pyreness trip with @kalimotxo_de_azufre . Day 1 started in Pamplona and we headed along the Pyrenees all the way to Vielha. Amazing roads and landscape but a long day with over 250 miles covered! Vielha is also a nice town for an overnight stop with plenty of places to have some good food. Oh! And the @cardosystems worked amazingly!
